I own the Asana‑Simulation repository on GitHub under the handle @Eshaj20.
The project is written in Python.
Development started in January 2026 and the last update was also in January 2026.
Generated data is stored in a SQLite database file named output/asana_simulation.sqlite.
I designed the codebase with a modular layout separating generators, models, scrapers, and utils.
Configuration parameters such as NUM_USERS, NUM_TEAMS, NUM_PROJECTS, NUM_TASKS and date ranges are defined in src/utils/config.py.
An optional LLM integration can generate AI‑driven prompts, but it is not required for the core simulation to run.
To run the simulation, I clone the repo, set up a virtual environment, install the dependencies from requirements.txt, copy .env.example to .env if I need LLM keys, and then execute python src/main.py.
