# Take For Granted Expression

On 2026-11-02 18:35 UTC I posted that the English idiom “take for granted” is one of my favorites and that Portuguese lacks a direct equivalent with the same nuance of careless neglect.

I may later investigate Portuguese idioms that convey a similar sense of casual neglect.
