# Space Combat Sims In Vr

Star Wars: X‑Wing Alliance runs in full on the standalone Meta Quest 3 headset without a PC, as shown in a video posted on 2026‑10‑18 02:49 UTC.

I captured the tweet from @izzynobre quoting @OG_VR_Gamer that praised the creator for the full‑game VR video.

I reported the release of Descent 1 & 2 VR version 1.1, which adds a modern cockpit, the original 1995 cockpit, a behind‑ship camera mode, and an interactive 3D manual book, distributed as standalone builds for Meta Quest 3 and Steam VR/Steam Frame.

- descent-vr.version = 1.1
  crockpits = 2 (modern, original 1995)
  platforms = 2 (Meta Quest 3, Steam Frame)
  new-view-mode = behind‑ship camera
  manual.format = interactive 3D book
