I noted on 2026-10-26 19:11 UTC that internet in Germany "funciona quando quer e muitas vezes não quer", describing it as possibly "a pior internet do mundo". Both mobile 5G/LTE and residential fiber are reported as unreliable, with fiber‑optic only now being deployed in many large German cities. While traveling by train, 5G coverage works for roughly 20% of the journey, and onboard Wi‑Fi is described as random, sometimes present and often absent.
