13:44 UTC Friday was my first Demo Hours at The Residency Bangalore.

On Saturday, we headed to South Park Commons’ Bangalore office for a storytelling workshop with Ananya Roy.

I am one week into The Residency Bangalore program and have realized that my biggest immediate need is to craft a clear, problem‑first narrative before diving into technical details. The Demo Hours presentation and the storytelling workshop highlighted this gap, so I decided to prioritize refining the problem statement and narrative for stakeholders.

I left thinking about how to help someone understand the problem we’re solving before getting into the technology behind it.

Decision: prioritize the problem‑first narrative in all upcoming pitches and communications. Reason: the storytelling workshop made it clear that investors and peers first need to grasp the problem before they can appreciate the technical solution.
