In early October 2026 I shared a series of X replies about youth sports coaching, parent culture, and a tool called KInda that I built for my own team.

The tool I built for my team is now used by **1K+ coaches**.

I named the product **KInda** because it "reminds you of marketing".

Parents differ by sport: soccer parents are "as expected" while wrestling parents are "thank you so so much…" and overly appreciative.

Volunteer coaches find the job hardest and note that parents love to criticize from the sidelines but rarely volunteer to coach.

A suggested "life hack" is to sign up as the assistant coach to gain influence without being the head coach.

I also mentioned coaching multiple sports (football, tee‑ball) and attending a webinar where participants shared their "Claude skills."
