On 2026‑10‑17 and 2026‑10‑18 I posted a self‑authored list titled “10 random rules for life”. Below are three decisions I highlighted as core principles, each expressed as a concise rule.

Decision 4 – Start a family. If you can. Most can. Less DraftKings Parlays and eating Zyns. Find yourself a purpose (usually it's kids/fam).

Decision 6 – Don't monetize your hobbies; have hobbies and enjoy them. Not everything needs to be a side project.

Decision 7 – No need to optimize everything. We're all going to die. It's OK if you only got 9k steps today you will be OK.
