The RAG Book repository uses Node 22 LTS (pinned in .nvmrc and the engines field of package.json).
The project relies on pnpm (npm install -g pnpm) as its package manager.
pnpm eval:smoke Retrieval regression check runs 10 questions and fails if recall drops.
