# Agentscope Developer Commands

I use a collection of npm scripts and Docker Compose commands to develop, test, and operate AgentScope locally.

Running `npm run dev` builds and starts the complete Compose stack.

Running `npm run down` stops the stack while retaining PostgreSQL data.

Running `npm run logs` follows logs for all services.

Running `npm run migrate` applies Alembic migrations with the one‑off migration service.

Running `npm run test:api` runs backend tests in Docker.

Running `npm run check:sdk` runs SDK lint, strict type checking, and tests.

Running `npm run example:sdk` runs the in‑memory tracing SDK example.

Running `npm run example:sdk:http` shows a safe HTTP exporter configuration without sending a request.

Running `npm run example:sdk:openai` runs the offline two‑LLM/one‑tool OpenAI‑compatible example.

Running `npm run example:sdk:langgraph` runs the offline LangGraph + OpenAI + tool composition example.

Running `npm run check:web` runs frontend tests, lint, type‑check, and a production build locally.

Running `npm run worker` runs a one‑off worker container.

Running `docker compose run --rm preflight` runs a read‑only operator check after PostgreSQL and Redis are available and before routing traffic.
