I described how I use the RULER reviewer to turn trajectory comparisons into scalar rewards for GRPO training, and how I added fine‑grained observability with Opet, exception tracing with Cline Desktop, and KV‑cache reduction via grouped‑query attention in Llama 3 70B.

In Llama 3 70B, every eight query heads share one KV head, making the KV cache 8x smaller.

Cline found all 9 relevant `try/except` blocks across 5 files, traced how the exception disappeared through each layer, and pointed to the exact locations involved without modifying the repository.
