In March 2026 I posted a series of informal notes on X, ranging from a dashboard creation to observations about solo founders, app deployment, and a three‑point taxonomy of people discussing AI agents.

Only people with higher mood swings than a pregnant woman are solo founders.

People have more apps deployed than users.

What we should be waiting for is ‘AI as a service’ and the IT department will have its AI tech support people.

There are 3 categories of people talking about AI agents.

Those who know how to use them: Does not matter at what level of competency, but if you ask them to spin up something, they can.

Those who know what agents can do theoretically.

Those who don't care.

I also traveled across Dubai, Fujairah, and Oman, describing the experience as “the absolute bottom of the barrel” and noting “the level of incompetence here is unmatched.”
