On 3 January 2026 I introduced a novel on‑chain “Bet” mechanism that works like a binary option on Token A. Participants pay a fixed $5 premium for a chance to lock in a $150 USDC purchase price for 1 Token A at expiry. If the market price exceeds $150 the contract unlocks an escrow vault and the winner can claim the right to swap $150 USDC for the token, effectively creating a synthetic long with limited loss (the premium). The design avoids cash payouts to keep the contract trust‑less and sidestep securities classification.

The premium paid to enter the Bet is $5.

The strike price for the swap right is $150 USDC per Token A.

When Token A trades at $200 at expiry, the winner receives the token for $150, realizing a $50 profit.

Fixed Yield Settled: $82.5B, +161% YoY.

~85% of TVL is now in Yield-Bearing Stablecoins.

The Hedger: Buys PT to escape volatility.

The Point Farmer: Buys YT for 50x leverage on airdrops.

The Arbitrageur: Plays the spread between fixed and floating rates.

The Youth For Governance (YFG) Fellowship 2026 inaugural cohort will consist of 12 fellows.

The programme runs for 12 weeks.

Each fellow receives a monthly stipend of ₹10,000.

The application deadline is 8 January 2026 (00:00 UTC).

Eligibility is limited to ages 18‑24.

The fellowship is hosted in Janakpuri, envisioned as a model constituency.

In January 2026 I used X to chronicle my observations on crypto narratives, founder fit, emerging consumer tech plays, and the daily “GM” habit. I reflected on what drives a narrative’s birth and death, questioned which chain metrics truly matter, and announced a shift away from repetitive greetings toward more substantive content.

I noted that “80 to 120 is a 50% difference”.

I saw “80k incoming?” and “80k coming” mentioned on X in late January.

I advised hedging after “55 days” of strong calls.

I recorded a “Day 10” streak of GM posts, following a “Day 9” streak.

Over the last decade I have had the chance to work with multiple companies across the fintech space.

I decided to shift focus from “GM” posts because I believe the repetitive greetings dilute the reach of substantive content. I also concluded that founder fit is more critical than product‑market fit and must exist from day 1.

- Vertical AI: AI‑native tools (e.g., @cursor_ai, @midjourney, @harvey)

My observations on chain success metrics (TPS, DAU, transaction volume, stable‑coin volume) remain open questions, as does the future impact of sovereign distribution, hedging strategies, and the decline of GM culture.

- Web3 Consumer: App‑driven Web3 with blockchain as backend (e.g., @Polymarket)
- Mass Distribution: Platforms enabling micro‑earn or quest‑based discovery
