In February 2022 I posted a series of X messages that explored Web3 product‑management philosophy, focusing on execution priorities, business model distinctions, PM role re‑evaluation, economic perspectives on Store‑of‑Value, the importance of composability, and system evolution insights.

Web3 PM emphasizes building, marketing, and iterating rather than planning, managing, and measuring.

The web3 model doesn’t depend on advertising or a freemium SaaS model that converts free users to paid plans.

As a PM you’re not as important: Engineers, community leaders, artists—these people are all more important than you.

The very principles of economics suggest that scarcity, validity, and demand can turn any asset, even a stone, into a Store‑of‑Value (SoV).

I think we all must accept that "Composability" in web3 is as important as compounding interest is in finance.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.

These observations informed my decisions to adopt an execution‑first mindset, reject advertising‑based business models, and flatten the traditional PM hierarchy in Web3 projects.
