I run a ten million dollar pre‑seed fund alone.
The stack is deliberately boring. React, Supabase, Postgres.
A fund, stripped to its skeleton, is two things. Data, everything the fund knows, and judgment, the small set of decisions that compound.
If it is not in the House, it did not happen.
The output: 60 founder meetings, 35 rapid‑fire pitches, 12 deep working sessions, one talk to a room of 70 builders.
Zero cold emails.
Every fund is secretly a database.
Native capital is different in kind.
In mid‑July 2026 I posted a two‑part LinkedIn series outlining Curious Ventures’ “dark‑node” sourcing model, the behavioural‑fork (Delta‑4) thesis, and how we embed with founders to build a “close” fund that can move fast without a traditional office.
I have no office or headquarters – the fund lives where founders live.
Our first check, Amplify, went out within days of capital landing.
Late‑July 2026 I met 110+ founders one‑on‑one, had 70+ deeper conversations, tracked 53 startups, shortlisted 17, and funded 1 (Amplify).
I live inside dark nodes, high‑density founder clusters like Network School, where the real dataset gets generated: who ships and who narrates shipping, who gets sharper under pressure, who does the six unglamorous months before anyone is watching.
Each node should produce 5‑6 investable deals per year.
