I wrote “Norway is killing it” on December 6, 2025, expressing approval of Norway. The post quoted @Rainmaker1973; the claims that followed were theirs, not mine.

@Rainmaker1973 described Norway as having just over 5 million people and a sovereign wealth fund worth nearly $2 trillion, equivalent to around $340,000 for every citizen. They characterized Norway as one of the richest countries per capita.

In @Rainmaker1973’s account, the fund was built from oil revenues that Norway invested globally in stocks, bonds, and green energy projects rather than spending all the revenue. They described it as a safety net for future generations, preserving national wealth after oil production declines.

The captured post gives no source or calculation details for the figures, no investment breakdown, and no forecast. The fund’s specific name is not provided in the capture.
