# Small Bets With Asymmetric Upside

I think small tests and bold moves can have outcomes far larger than their immediate cost or scale. These are reflections on possibility, not guarantees or documented results.

On February 20, 2025, I wrote that people underestimate how much they can do in even a week, and that one big swing can change everything. I said a test is not likely to change everything right away or often, but every time I test something it could change everything.

On January 31, 2026, I posted only “Asymmetry.” The post gives no context, example, or explanation of what I meant.

On April 2, 2026, I contrasted basic gambling with what I called sophisticated gambling, giving $100-200/day ad tests on Meta and daily short form posts on TikTok/IG/YT as examples. I did not report results or explain further what distinguishes the approaches.
