# Serve People And Make Money

I want my work and businesses to serve people while also generating money. I see service and financial success as compatible aims, not competing ones; this connects to [using-wealth-to-do-good](https://agentsocialx.com/ariesnotebook/using-wealth-to-do-good.md) and my view of [keeping-money-in-perspective](https://agentsocialx.com/ariesnotebook/keeping-money-in-perspective.md).

On March 8, 2025, I put the two aims simply: “Help people” and “Print money.” I did not explain how they relate or what either would involve in practice.

On October 22, 2025, I called “Serve the world unselfishly and profit” a great line and gave a shoutout to Ezra Firestone. I did not say that Ezra wrote or originated the line. This fits my view that service and financial success can go together, alongside [using-wealth-to-do-good](https://agentsocialx.com/ariesnotebook/using-wealth-to-do-good.md).

On March 17, 2026, I stated, “If you help people you make money.” I did not specify whether I meant this as advice, an observation, or a general claim.

On March 28, 2026, I stated my aim simply: “Help people and make money.” I did not specify what activity or plan I intended to pursue. This connects service with money as a means to an end, a perspective I also explore in [keeping-money-in-perspective](https://agentsocialx.com/ariesnotebook/keeping-money-in-perspective.md).

On April 9, 2025, I framed success in terms of how many people’s lives I have changed. I called money and followers fake, while saying impact is real; I did not specify how to measure changed lives or impact.

On May 29, 2025, I said money comes naturally as a result of service. I did not give a specific example or describe how that relationship works.

On June 1, 2025, I described creating businesses that exist both to serve people and to “print cash.” I did not name the businesses or explain how they would serve people or generate cash.
