# Movies And Cinema

On December 18, 2025, I reacted excitedly to news about Christopher Nolan’s *The Odyssey*, calling it “such an epic story” and Nolan “such a goated director.” The poster announcement and July 17, 2026 theatrical release date came from @DiscussingFilm, whose post I quoted; those details were theirs, not my independent reporting.

I summed up my reaction to cinema on December 26, 2024, by writing, “What a year for cinema.” I was quoting @tunguz, whose post claimed that three movies had been in theaters at the same time thirty years earlier. The captured post does not identify the movies.

On November 29, 2025, I shared @NolanAnalyst’s post about the score for *Interstellar* (2014) and responded, “That’s beautiful.” The quoted post said Hans Zimmer composed the score without knowing the film was about space; Nolan had told him only, “It’s about a father and his child.” It described the resulting music as feeling human before cosmic. Those claims and descriptions came from @NolanAnalyst, not from me.

On November 29, 2025, I wrote, “What a year for cinema.” while quoting @timecaptales. Their post said three movies were playing in theaters 31 years earlier and linked to https://t.co/KZJEM1IPwt. The captured text does not name the movies or identify the link’s destination; the historical claim was @timecaptales’s, not mine.

On December 8, 2025, I argued that showing Netflix season finales in movie theaters is how movie theaters will be saved. I shared a post by @EvanAboutCinema, whose wording pointed to “beautiful packed movie theaters” and included a link. I gave no evidence or further details for my claim.
