# Livestreaming Boom

I see streaming as booming, and I reacted positively to news about a major charity fundraising stream.

On August 16, 2025, I called the news “Very cool” and said streaming is booming.

The post quoted @MrBeast saying he had completed his first stream and that it raised over $12,000,000 for charity. He described it as the most money ever raised in a live stream; these are his reported claims, not figures I independently verified.

The post did not provide details about the stream, identify the charity, or explain how the reported amount was verified.
