On November 25, 2025, I shared the headline “Baking is BOOMING.” The quoted figures and invitation came from @harleyf, who said holiday shoppers were preparing to make things, not just shop: roasting pans were up 274%, cookie jars 247%, bakeware sets 191%, wooden toy kits 110%, and coloring books 115%. @harleyf invited Shopify sellers of those products to share their stores. The post did not specify the comparison period, baseline, or source for the figures.
