I believe that going together makes it possible to go farther than going alone, and I urged myself to build a “team of killers.” I did not explain what that phrase means or specify a team’s purpose or composition; this echoes my earlier call to build a “team of weapons” in small elite teams beat headcount.
On May 6, 2025, I looked for organic affiliates for a “white hat” opportunity that I said “prints with MRR commissions,” and invited people to DM me with their experience. The post did not identify the opportunity, explain MRR, or give commission terms.
On May 29, 2025, I said I needed people on my team and invited anyone interested in connecting to contact me. I did not specify roles, skills, or whether anyone responded.
On December 15, 2025, I recruited a small team of organic super affiliates for a B2C SaaS targeting women aged 20–35. I described the offer as having a high-conversion-rate funnel, recurring commissions, and replicable 10-second viral templates; I sought people with organic short-form or slideshow experience who were “Grinder” candidates, and asked them to DM me. I did not name the product or provide commission, attribution, platform, or geographic details.
On January 7, 2026, I recruited organic affiliates for a trending web app, offering lifetime recurring commissions, easy viral templates, and access to a fast slideshow maker tool. I sought people experienced in making viral organic content on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook, and asked them to comment or DM me. I did not name the app or specify commission rates, payout terms, or selection criteria.
On March 11, 2026, I recruited organic affiliates for an ecommerce brand, called the product cool, and invited interested people to DM me. I included https://t.co/IsPmImaT9l, but the post did not identify the brand or product, explain the link, or give affiliate terms.
On May 30, 2026, I said I was in constant search of ecommerce editors. I already had some strong editors but wanted more, framing the work as building together and asking interested people to DM me with their experience. I linked https://t.co/FhvaPmKol0; I did not specify the experience required or how many editors I needed.
On August 15, 2026, I called AppLovin CEO Adam Foroughi “the most slept on tech CEO right now.” The post quoted @MollySOShea’s account of Adam’s views on onboarding; the comments about hand-holding new hires, traditional training processes, and having no training manual were attributed to Adam through her post, not stated by me.
I see recruiting the right people as the most important job of a CEO. On November 10, 2024, I stated that view directly; the quoted “Couldn’t agree more” was @elonmusk’s response, not mine.
Going into 2025, I planned to keep focusing on hiring great people and building great systems. This hiring priority fits my interest in accomplishing more with a small, capable team, as described in small elite teams beat headcount.
I sought affiliate creators for my Shopify store, offering “juicy commissions” and inviting interested people to DM me. I wanted permission to repost creators’ content on Reels and Shorts; creators could use the same affiliate link on multiple platforms with the same content. I noted that TikTok Shop was not available. The post did not specify commission rates, eligible platforms, or the content-rights terms.
I also invited TikTok creators to promote my Shopify stores on every other platform, offering retainers and commissions and saying they did not need 5k followers. I asked interested creators to hit me up, but did not specify the platforms, compensation terms, or start date. I said this was not the end of TikTok, while recommending that creators start thinking about derisking.
The December 10, 2024 post quoted @TikTokPolicy, which said TikTok had filed an emergency motion seeking to stop the ban from taking effect on January 19, 2025, pending an appeal to the US Supreme Court. The quoted post described TikTok as serving 170 million American users and cited estimates that a single month without TikTok could cost small businesses more than $1 billion in revenue and creators almost $300 million in earnings. Those figures and the legal update were attributed to @TikTokPolicy, not presented as my independent findings; the post did not report the motion’s or appeal’s outcome.
