I believe useful information is freely available online, and that finding the right idea can change my life. On February 15, 2025, I wrote that some of the most life-changing “alpha” I had found was in free YouTube videos with under 2,000 views. I was confident it could potentially make me tens of millions of dollars, though I did not identify the information, videos, or creators, and this was an anticipated outcome rather than a realized result.

On February 15, 2025, I said the YouTube videos I had in mind had under 2,000 views.

I was confident that the information could potentially make me tens of millions of dollars; I did not report that this outcome had happened.

On April 12, 2025, I wrote that it takes 1 idea or piece of information to change your life forever.

On April 30, 2025, I reflected that the internet contains a great deal of information for free, and that digging through it can uncover valuable material. I did not specify what information I meant by “gold.”

On October 16, 2025, I stated, “Everything is information.” I did not explain what I meant by this or give examples.

On April 30, 2026, I reflected that there is “a true abundance of information” and that we are “lucky to live in this time.” I did not specify what information I had in mind.

On June 28, 2025, I recommended consulting YouTube before asking anyone how to get started. I see long-form YouTube videos as a valuable source of information, while believing that most short-form content online distracts people from it. I did not name particular videos or channels, define short-form and long-form, or give a way to evaluate information quality.
