Ethereum Value And Conviction

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I remain convinced of Ethereum’s value and see its slower, more expensive transactions as part of its premium positioning. My views also include support for Base and the belief that Solana will remain relevant.

On 2025-01-20 01:41 UTC, I said, “I still believe in Ethereum.”

On 2025-02-15 01:07 UTC, I wrote that Ethereum being slower and more expensive to transact on is a feature not a bug; Ethereum is the premium chain. My view was shaped by seeing coins on Solana rise from zero to billions and then completely rug soon after.

On 2025-02-15 02:35 UTC, replying to @alina_anto, I said, “I believe Base is built on Ethereum.” I also called Coinbase a winning company and said I like Base.

On 2025-02-16 15:24 UTC, replying to @kurtyaz1, I said, “I think Solana is here to stay and the perceived value of ETH is going higher.”

On March 2, 2025 at 17:52 UTC, I shared a post from @Uniswap saying, “Ethereum is obvious.” I added no comment or explicit endorsement of my own.

On April 14, 2025 at 21:19 UTC, I shared @ethereum’s post saying, “Ethereum is for fixing the money,” and added, “I like this.”

On May 8, 2025, I reacted positively to @ethereum’s phrase “Built on Ethereum.” At 22:39 UTC I wrote, “Wow this is awesome,” and at 22:41 UTC I wrote, “BUILT ON ETHEREUM GOES SO HARD.” The quoted phrase was @ethereum’s wording, not my own announcement.

On November 1, 2025 at 16:03 UTC, replying to @VitalikButerin and mentioning @mattyglesias, I wrote that @VitalikButerin’s writing was making me load up on Ethereum and added, “So good.” This expressed enthusiasm and an inclination to increase my Ethereum exposure; I did not say which writing I meant, how much I planned to buy, or whether I actually bought any.
