I see entrepreneurship and investing as mutually reinforcing: being an entrepreneur makes me a better investor, and being an investor makes me a better entrepreneur.

On January 4, 2025, I expressed this reciprocal relationship directly: “I’m a better investor because I’m an entrepreneur and I’m a better entrepreneur because I’m an investor.”

On October 11, 2025, replying to @Cobratate, I described building things and investing some of the resulting cash flow as “the way.” My stated approach is to build things and invest some of the cash flow.

In that reply, I attributed the reciprocal entrepreneur-investor saying to “buffet,” spelled that way in my post. The captured exchange does not include the message I was responding to.
