# Deep Thinking And Pondering

I relate to sustained pondering as a way of thinking. On December 25, 2025, I described myself as a ponderer.

I quoted @SJosephBurns’s post, which shared a statement attributed to Jim Simons. The statement said Simons did not consider himself the fastest and would not have done well in an Olympiad or math contest.

The shared statement presented pondering—thinking about something repeatedly—as a good approach. It was linked to https://t.co/Ja63FHl6hA.
