I see consumer debt and excessive spending as signs that consumerism is getting out of hand, even though I own an ecommerce business.

On August 1, 2025, I claimed that Americans are going into debt to buy Labubus; my post offered no figures or supporting evidence.

I called consumerism “modern day slavery” and admitted that it was getting out of hand, despite my work as an ecommerce business owner.
