I have questioned whether existence or sound depends on conscious observation, using the familiar example of a tree falling unheard in the woods.
On March 3, 2025, I replied to @sama: “So basically if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, it doesn’t make a sound because it doesn’t even exist since there is no consciousness observing it, got it.” I was rhetorically framing an idea, not establishing it as fact or stating @sama’s position; the captured reply does not identify the prior claim I was responding to.
