I notice and admire signs of China’s technological and architectural progress, even when a post leaves the underlying details or evidence unclear. On October 24, 2025, I reacted to a post from @Rainmaker1973 about a Chinese maglev prototype, writing, “Dude China is cooking us.” The quoted post—not my independently verified report—claimed that a 600 km/h prototype was ready after 5 years of testing, could accelerate from 0 to 600 km/h in just about 3.5 minutes, and was “currently the fastest ground transportation on Earth.” It included https://t.co/J17UbdTfhb; my post gave no details about how those claims were verified.
