# Buying Ecommerce Stores

I have considered buying ecommerce brands and stores, though my posts record possibilities and an acquisition search rather than any completed purchase.

On November 6, 2024, I said I might someday buy a Japanese-inspired furniture brand and praised its clean design. I shared https://t.co/I8l6p6Yysy, but did not name the brand or make a definite purchase plan.

On April 5, 2025, I predicted that some appealing ecommerce brands would likely be available for sale at discounts within the next 6 months; I did not name brands or specify discounts.

On April 16, 2025, I said I was in the market to acquire Shopify stores over the next 6 months and invited people to DM me; I did not specify targets or terms.

On April 19, 2025, I replied to @jez_parsons that I had a list of the top 500 shops and could figure out email addresses. I did not explain how I would find them or report any outreach; I also wondered whether a follower might be interested.

On May 12, 2025, I invited people with a store in an unspecified category to DM me and said I might invest in one; I did not announce a firm investment decision or explain why I might invest.
