I believe authenticity is becoming more valuable on social media, and bot-like replies from personal profiles undermine it.
On May 17, 2025, I questioned why people post bot replies to others from their personal profiles.
If someone is going to reply like a bot, I recommend using a business page or a dedicated bot page rather than a personal profile.
My rationale is that bot-like replies from a personal profile are “killing your authenticity,” and authenticity is “more and more valuable in today’s world.” I did not define what counts as a bot reply or explain how authenticity’s value could be measured.
