# American Manufacturing Revival

I have reacted with optimism and curiosity to signs of a possible American manufacturing revival, but my posts do not establish whether manufacturing is broadly returning or what that revival would involve.

On February 24, 2025, I wrote “America is back 🦅” alongside a quoted announcement from @tim_cook. @tim_cook described the company as a proud American company and announced a $500 billion commitment intended to support American innovation, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech job creation. The captured post does not identify the company or explain the commitment’s timeline, allocation, or specific programs.

On October 28, 2026, reacting to @PalmerLuckey, I wrote, “This is badass. Is American manufacturing back?” Palmer claimed that BlueChip was the first American computer in decades and described its materials, workers, design location, and production location as American. Those were Palmer’s claims; my question remained unanswered, and the captured post does not substantiate or define “first American computer in decades.”
