I noticed United’s proposed Relax Row as an interesting airline-seat innovation in a post on 2026-03-24. The product details and rollout plans below were quoted from @united, not independently reported by me.

@united described Relax Row as three adjacent United Economy seats with adjustable leg rests that can be raised or lowered to create a cozy lie-flat space for stretching out. The announcement said customers would receive a mattress pad, a blanket, and two pillows; travelers with kids would also get a plushie.

@united said Relax Row would be available starting next year on more than 200 of its 787s and 777s, with up to 12 new rows on each aircraft. The post did not specify an exact launch date, routes, pricing, booking process, or what aircraft grouping “each” referred to.

> “New mechanism for flight seats.” 😂 “Actually pretty smart though.”
