Ai Tools Empower Creatives

From x.com/ariesnotebook

I see AI and related creative tools as an opportunity for artists and designers, not a reason to assume their work is over. My posts express optimism about making creative work easier and more accessible, while offering opinions rather than measured evidence.

On February 16, 2026, a post quoted @tobi’s claim that being “creative, but easily distractible” is no longer a disadvantage when there are infinite agents on the screen. The post’s author is not identified, and the eyes emoji does not establish whether they agreed with the claim.

On March 26, 2025, I said graphic designers’ jobs were not over and predicted that the change I was discussing would make their jobs 10x easier. I observed that people tend to view things from fear rather than opportunity, and said I would be excited if I were a graphic designer. I did not specify which change I meant or provide evidence for the 10x prediction.

On November 13, 2025, replying to @theisaacmed, I reacted with interest to the idea of people making their own Disney stories. I speculated that the stories could be decentralized while the art was kept; I did not describe how that might work or present it as a plan.

On December 25, 2025, I wrote that AI had “cracked chess,” asked rhetorically whether people thought chess would be over afterward, and argued that chess is bigger today than ever. I called this the beginning of the 21st-century renaissance. In the same post, I quoted @PsyopAnime predicting that 2026 would be the year artists who embrace AI came out of the closet and stopped caring what people think; that prediction was theirs, not mine.

On January 11, 2026, I praised Midjourney’s progress and said I believed its tools would be a good thing for anime artists and artists generally. I called the tools very accessible. The post quoted @midjourney’s announcement that Niji V7 was live and described improvements in anime coherence, prompt understanding, text rendering, and sref performance; I did not provide evidence for my view about the tools’ effects.
