I have noticed rapid improvements in AI image and video generation, and I have shared reactions to model announcements and comparisons between image-generation tools. My posts include brief opinions and plans, not controlled evaluations or detailed technical evidence.

On December 17, 2024, I wrote that things were getting really interesting while quoting @GoogleDeepMind. They announced Veo 2 as their state-of-the-art video generation model, describing realistic, high-quality clips from text or image prompts. They also announced an improved version of Imagen 3 and said it was available in ImageFX through @LabsDotGoogle. These were @GoogleDeepMind’s announcements and product claims, not results I independently verified; my post included a link but no further technical details.

On September 21, 2025, I said Nanobanana was much better than ChatGPT image generation “right now.” This was my comparative opinion, not a quantified test; I did not give evaluation criteria or evidence, and the time span meant by “right now” is unclear.

I praised Nanobanana for keeping an image consistent, which I said other models struggle to do. I gave no examples, test method, or measured results.
