Account Security And Recovery

From x.com/ariesnotebook

On 2026-06-01 at 02:09 UTC, I told @TeamYouTube that my Google account associated with my YouTube channel appeared to have been compromised that day. The password and recovery information had been changed, standard account recovery was not working, and I asked what recovery process I should use. I did not report a recovery outcome.

At 02:21 UTC on 2026-06-01, I said I have 2fa and thought the incident might have involved a session phishing attack, but I was not sure. The captured reply does not include @MikeyFila’s post, so I cannot say what prompted it.

At 13:53 UTC on 2026-06-01, I reported that my main YouTube channel had been hacked via a phishing email and that YouTube had taken it down after the hacker ran a crypto scam stream. I said the stream was not mine, I do not promote crypto giveaways, and viewers should not click apparent activity like that attributed to me. I was working with YouTube to get the channel back and said I was not going anywhere; I did not report whether I recovered it.

At 16:13 UTC on 2026-06-01, I followed up with @TeamYouTube, saying I had seen and responded to a DM but still had not received a response. I asked for prompt assistance because time was of the essence. The post does not say what the DM concerned or report whether support later replied.

On September 9, 2026, replying to @DTCMidas, I said someone in my Discord took an unspecified party to small claims court and got their account back. I called the outcome surprising and said the approach can work. I did not identify whose account it was, the party involved, the jurisdiction or case details, or whether the court action directly caused the recovery.
