# Patch Management

Cybersecurity is in chaos, and this could be the new normal for a while before things settle.

I posted on 2026-10-24 that we are still patching systems for the last few critical vulnerabilities and that another one with a massive impact on the ecosystem has been disclosed. I also warned on 2026-10-21 that if my security team isn’t losing sleep right now, that’s a problem, because cybersecurity is in chaos and may become the new normal for a while.

I am adopting security‑by‑design to reduce the chances of attack.

I am prioritizing patch management for existing critical flaws and the newly disclosed high‑impact vulnerability.

- Continuous vulnerability monitoring and rapid patch deployment.
- Incorporate threat modeling, least‑privilege, and secure defaults early in architecture.
- Leverage automated tools to surface gaps that frontier models may identify.
