# Resume Matching System

I built the Resume Matching System on my GitHub (@Amrishpurigoswami) to match resumes with job descriptions using NLP.

The repository is written in Python and has 1 star.

I started the project in 2026-04 and last updated it in 2026-04.

The core algorithm uses TF‑IDF vectorisation (via scikit‑learn’s TfidfVectorizer) and cosine similarity to compute a match percentage.

When I run the example, the system prints: “Resume matches the job description by: 32.30%”.

I invoke the program from a Windows command prompt:
