# Chatbot2 In Python

I created the **chatbot2_in_python** repository on my GitHub, a bilingual (English/Hindi) digital‑literacy chatbot for parents and elders.

The repository is an HTML project with 1 star.

I started the project in May 2025 and last updated it in October 2025.

Its primary purpose is DigiMitra, a bilingual chatbot that teaches digital literacy skills.

I designed it for parents and elders who need basic digital skills.

The chatbot supports English and Hindi responses.

It offers guidance on browsers, email, UPI payments, WhatsApp, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and online safety.

Interaction modes include text and voice input, using the Web Speech API for speech‑to‑text.

The responsive UI is built with React and Tailwind CSS, featuring quick‑action buttons for Digital Basics, Tutorials, Get Help, and Safety Tips.

The backend is a Flask server that uses NLTK for rule‑based chatbot logic.

Prerequisites to run the project are Python 3.8+ and an optional Node.js installation for local development.
