# Chandigarh Cloud Native Meetups

I posted a brief note on 2025‑09‑06 expressing excitement for an upcoming CNCF‑related event in Chandigarh, mentioning the organizer Saiyam Pathak.

Excited for the event !

The event is tied to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and the local CNCG Chandigarh community.

I am collaborating with CNCG Chandigarh & Kubesimplify for the Cloud Native Meetup.

The meetup is scheduled for May 2 2026 and will bring together developers, engineers, and builders interested in modern infrastructure and platform engineering.

The CNCF Chandigarh meetup featured **7** talks total, all focused on AI workloads.

Out of those, **4** talks were specifically about AI agents.

**2** talks covered sandboxing agents.

The event was a **sold‑out** cloud‑native day in Chandigarh.

We decided to emphasize agent containment because the community sees standardization and sandboxing as the next critical steps for AI workloads, and we launched the **#AAIF** as a neutral home for agent standards to accelerate interoperability faster than the historical CNCF timeline.

I organized the Cloud Native Chandigarh (CNCF) meetup to bring roughly 200 engineers and professionals together on 18 July 2026 at the Radisson in Chandigarh.

Event date: 2026‑07‑18.

Expected attendance: 200 engineers & professionals.

Venue: Radisson, Chandigarh.

Gold sponsor: Vultr.

The agenda covers Kubernetes for AI/ML workloads, MLOps, GitOps pipelines, AI agent orchestration, observability and GPU cost optimisation, with sessions ranging from beginner to advanced.
