I observe that “Phones copy phones. Apps copy apps. Brands copy brands. People copy influencers. Creators copy creators.”

I argue that “Don’t become a better copy. Become an unforgettable original.”

I recall that “Nokia looked like Nokia. BlackBerry looked like BlackBerry. Sony Xperia had its own identity. Motorola, HTC, LG, Lumia, each had a unique philosophy and design.”

I reflect on how the tech and cultural landscape has lost distinct brand and personal identity. In the past, firms like Nokia, BlackBerry, Sony Xperia, Motorola, HTC, LG, and Lumia each had a unique philosophy and design, making them instantly recognizable.

When everyone is copying each other, they slowly lose their own identity.

I argue that this homogenization extends beyond products to clothing, routines, content creation, and even thought patterns, turning trends into copies. The future belongs to those who have the courage to create one original thing rather than become a better copy.
