I am revisiting Einstein’s Relativity to capture the early, non‑mathematical ideas and explain them in simple language.
Imagine you're sitting in a moving train and drop your phone. To you, it falls straight down. To someone standing outside, it follows a curved path.
Both are.
The path depends on where you're observing it from.
It feels like it. But Earth is rotating, orbiting the Sun, and moving through the galaxy.
So "standing still" is only true relative to Earth.
