Indian Talent Brain Drain

From linkedin.com/in/aditya-singh-581bb813a · x.com/allin_adi

I argue that receiving 900 million justifies the brain‑drain we see, because such capital makes the migration of talent financially sensible.

I observe that Indian AI founders keep moving to Silicon Valley because the money’s there, and once they land most funds tell them not to build for the Indian customer.

We keep cheering Indian AI founders moving to Silicon Valley, but honestly it might be the saddest thing about our ecosystem right now.

Our sharpest talent ends up making US companies more efficient, while the Indian customer, the one who actually needs that talent, gets left behind.

The government’s RDI push is genuinely good on paper, but the money is stuck, founders and VCs have been waiting months on their applications while the runway burns.

If foreign capital decides India isn’t worth it, we have very little of our own to fall back on.

The day Indian customers pay and Indian capital shows up with real conviction, our best founders won’t need a flight out to build something that matters.

If you’re getting 900m, brain drain is justified guys.
