I realized that caregivers in India are constantly present yet remain invisible, and I want to shift public attention to recognize and support them.
They’re always there.
But somehow, they’re always invisible.
When someone in a family falls sick, there is almost always another person whose life quietly changes with theirs.
Someone remembers the medicines.
Someone goes to every doctor’s appointment.
Someone wakes up in the middle of the night.
Someone changes their work schedule, cancels plans, sits outside hospital rooms and answers every call from friends and relatives asking: “How is the patient?”
But very rarely does anyone ask them: “How are you?”
