I evaluated several proactive AI assistants and distilled a set of criteria that guide how I let them act in my workflow.

Claude Duet was the most proactive of the bunch for me, and it flagged a lot. Duet asks before it sends, pays, or signs anything. I prefer that default.

I define prohibited domains or resources such as avoid a debit card.
