# Linkedin October 2026 Okr

I wrote a LinkedIn post on 2026‑10‑18 sharing my fellowship note about the “Product Management Concept: OKRs – Objectives and Key Results”. The post explains what OKRs are, how they differ from KPIs and tasks, and why they matter for aligning teams and delivering value rather than just shipping features.

OKRs stand for Objectives and Key Results.

Objective: What do we want to achieve?

Key Results: How will we measure whether we're achieving it?

Increase weekly users achieving a meaningful goal from 200 to 350.

Improve onboarding completion from 45% to 70%.

Increase four‑week retention from 20% to 30%.

OKRs define the outcomes we want to achieve.

KPIs help us monitor ongoing performance.

Tasks describe the work we need to do.

Don't confuse shipping features with delivering value.

I decided to adopt OKRs as the primary alignment and measurement framework, emphasizing outcome‑focused language (“help users achieve their goals”) to steer product decisions toward value creation.

- Method I follow:
1. Craft a concise, inspirational, user‑centric Objective.
2. Select 2‑4 quantifiable, time‑bound Key Results linked to the Objective.
3. Align feature work (e.g., redesign onboarding, simplify goal creation, add weekly planning) to the KRs.
4. Track progress regularly (weekly/bi‑weekly) against the numeric targets.
