On October 18 2026 I reflected on the cultural perception of 9‑to‑5 jobs. I acknowledge the criticism that corporations often show low loyalty and frequent layoffs, while also recognizing that stable employment still delivers essential resources such as health insurance, college funding, retirement security, and workforce training. My goal is to balance accountability for corporate misconduct with celebration of workers who use their positions to support families and personal growth.
I’m going to celebrate the people busting their butts and using that system to build a life for themselves and their family.
